Ms. Riya Rajkumar Sharma is a Counsel at AM Sports Law and Management Co. and a member of Women in Sports (WIS) Law. She primarily handles the gaming, media and entertainment law related transactions. She brings with her a strong foundation in Intellectual Property, with extensive experience in tech, trademarks and copyrights. Previously, she worked in-house at a prominent production and talent management company, gaining hands-on experience in drafting and negotiating agreements across Production, Celebrity Engagement, Brand Endorsement, Talent, Sponsorship, Licensing and Online Gaming Advertising compliance as well as Website Terms, Conditions, and Policies.
With an LL.B, M.A. in English Literature and certifications in trademark prosecution and risk management, Riya combines legal expertise with strategic insight, complementing her legal expertise with a well-rounded understanding of business and communication.
Mr. Shivansh Soni is a Counsel at AM Sports Law and Management Co. With over seven years of experience, Shivansh primarily deals with disputes involving intellectual property rights, corporate law, employment law, contract negotiations and arbitrations across multiple jurisdictions. He has worked on high-stake matters including complex writ petitions, election disputes, intellectual property disputes, corporate and insolvency proceedings, and competition law cases. At AM Sports Law, Shivansh focuses on dispute resolution, contract structuring, and negotiations for athletes, clubs, federations, and sports agencies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from NLIU Bhopal and a Master’s degree from Jindal Global University. He is also a certified mediator, accredited by the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution (USA), and has completed the FIFA–CIES Executive Programme in Sports Management.
He combines legal expertise with a strong commitment to athlete welfare, governance reform, and the sustainable development of sports law in India.

Ms. Urja Mishra is a Counsel at AM Sports Law and Management Co, advising on corporate, sports, media, and technology-driven regulatory matters. She specialises in regulatory governance, digital and intellectual property rights, comparative jurisprudence, and dispute management in the sports and creative sectors.
Her experience spans leading media organisations such as CNBC and CNN-News18, where she worked on sports broadcasting rights, copyright licensing, personality rights, data protection, and digital platform contracts. She has also served as a Legal Advisor at the LSE Legal Advice Clinic, trained with law firms including Khaitan & Co., CMS IndusLaw, and Phoenix Legal, and worked at the Supreme Court of India under Justice Abhay Oka, focusing on arbitral oversight, constitutional interpretation, and privacy law.
Urja holds an LL.M. in European, Comparative, and Transnational Laws from the London School of Economics & Political Science and is a Gold Medalist in her B.A. LL.B. from Pune University. Her training is complemented by diplomas in Intellectual Property Rights (GNLU), Cyber Laws (GLC Mumbai), and Corporate Laws (ILS Law College, Pune). She has represented India at the G20 Youth Conclave and regularly contributes to academic and professional fora, including as an adjudicator at IIT and NIT competitions.

Ms. Rupakshi Choudhary is a Counsel at AM Sports Law and Management Co. Her multidisciplinary journey has taken her from India’s legal corridors to Australia’s legal landscape. A dual-qualified legal professional, admitted to practice in both India and Australia, Rupakshi brings a truly global perspective to legal advisory and advocacy. She is skilled in general corporate advisory, commercial contract drafting, and cross-border legal practice, with experience across diverse legal domains, especially intellectual property, sports and media law. Prior to joining the firm, Rupakshi worked as a paralegal at the Harness Racing Victoria and MNG Lawyers in Australia.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in law from O.P. Jindal Global University and a Master’s degree from University of Melbourne and has completed a Graduate Diploma in Australian Laws from Monash University. She is adept at handling complex legal matters, bringing a meticulous approach to legal analysis and drafting.
Jadunath Behera is an advocate with nearly two decades of experience and advises clients across sectors on protection, growth and sustainability of their brands and issues relating to IP in advertisements and brand infringement. He assist clients with trademark and copyright registration and represents them in relation to prosecuting and defending trade marks and copyrights, domain name disputes, domain registration.
